About the Role

Sprout Social is seeking to hire a Manager, Internal Integration and Automation to lead the foundational integrations and automations between internal services and tooling. The role involves working closely with executive leaders to shape the long-term vision for intelligent automation that transforms how teams work, collaborate, and deliver value. Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of automation engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Define the team's roadmap, aligning initiatives with organizational priorities and measurable business outcomes.
Identify feasible AI use cases that align with business KPIs, ensuring measurable outcomes such as cost savings and productivity improvements.
Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of RPA workflows using platforms like SnapLogic and Okta workflows.
Evaluate automation requests and implement solutions to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and increase operational efficiency.
Ensure proper governance, documentation, and change management for all automation solutions.
Manage the integration of core enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, HRIS) through APIs, middleware, and automation tools.
Partner with IT and engineering teams to ensure secure and scalable system integrations.
Identify and resolve system interdependencies and technical challenges.
Participate in the evaluation and integration of AI technologies into internal tools and processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI-driven use cases that enhance productivity and decision-making.
Stay current with emerging AI/ML trends, tools, and frameworks to shape the company's AI strategy.
Act as the primary liaison between automation, IT, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
Manage vendor relationships and evaluate third-party tools to support automation and AI initiatives.
Ensure automation and AI initiatives comply with security policies, data privacy regulations, and best practices by partnering with InfoSec teams.

Requirements

Strategic thinker with a passion for technology.
Experience leading automation projects and teams.
Knowledge of RPA workflows and platforms such as SnapLogic and Okta workflows.
Experience with systems integration using APIs, middleware, and automation tools.
Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, features, and frameworks.
Strong communication skills to liaise between technical and business teams.
Ability to evaluate and implement automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
Understanding of security policies, data privacy regulations, and best practices related to automation and AI.

Nice to Have

Experience with AI-driven features and internal AI strategy development.
Knowledge of enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, and HRIS.
Experience managing vendor relationships and evaluating third-party tools.

Qualifications

Experience in automation, systems integration, or related fields.
