Manager, Market Access Reporting & Analytics

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively identify needs and use data sets to develop reports and identify trends for leadership.
• Perform in-depth Market Access focused analyses using various data sets including patient level Specialty Pharmacy data, Patient HUB data, MMIT payer information, and third-party data sets.
• Obtain information from Market Access regional leaders that can be triangulated with data and reports to provide a robust view of overall trends and opportunities.
• Lead regional level reporting initiatives including update to leadership, ad hoc presentations, and new report requests.
• Collaborate with Insights and Analytics colleagues to layer in regional analyses into an overall brand performance story.
• Work with Business Intelligence Operations and IT to provide field teams with robust analytics regarding their business.
• Deliver data element requirements to IT for updates to existing or creation of new automated reports.
• Work with regional leadership to understand reporting needs and generate focused reports to help with mentor and development to optimize performance.
• Analyze various reports at a National and Regional level to provide insights into targeting opportunities.
• Present new reports, analyses, or findings to Commercial leadership.
• Demonstrate proactive curiosity, business thinking, and leverage best practices in analytics to glean insights.
• Use data analysis to answer the 'So What' and 'What if' questions from business partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including IT, Marketing, Sales, Commercial Effectiveness, and Market Access to enhance data reporting capabilities and address data inconsistencies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of market access/patient services/commercial analytics experience in pharmaceutical/biotech.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field required. Advanced degree preferred.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical data (e.g., specialty pharmacy, payer, Symphony claims, MMIT).
• High proficiency in BI tools such as Qlik.
• Highly skilled in MS Excel with experience extracting detailed data sets, concatenating, and analyzing.
• Proficiency in other Microsoft Office Products, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Strong attention to detail in dealing with data sets, dashboards, and reports.
• Advanced presentation and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of business drivers for field access managers, case managers, and key account directors.
• Ability to translate data into opportunities, successes, and landscape assessments.
• Experience with pharmaceutical launches and commercialization of pharmaceutical products with orphan/specialty drug launch.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all areas of the Commercial organization including Insights and Analytics, Field Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Market Access.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment.
• Proactive and creative problem-solving ability.
