About the Role

The Manager, New Revenue Development Program Management will lead a team responsible for overseeing cost, compliance, and schedule management of PG&E's NRD portfolio, including pilots, programs, and initiatives. The role involves reporting, forecasting, governance, program controls, contract and document administration, data utilization, and IT project oversight to ensure end-to-end program success. The position supports the company's strategy to leverage utility assets for revenue generation while focusing on safety, quality, collaboration, and making a positive impact on affordability. This hybrid role requires working from a remote office and an assigned location within the PG&E Service Territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide vision and guidance to create an engaging and productive team environment that contributes to business targets.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and integrity within the team.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet safety, compliance, labor, and budget goals.
  • Lead the development and use of Lean reporting and governance tools to track progress against NRD KPIs.
  • Create and maintain analytical tools to understand performance, trends, and insights for forecasting and strategic decision-making.
  • Forecast budgets, request adjustments based on program performance, and develop multi-year financial forecasts aligned with NRD strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise governance standards to support program success.
  • Contribute to new program and pilot proposals by guiding budget development and IT requirements.
  • Lead timely reporting of key programs, including annual evaluation reports required by CPUC.
  • Manage data reporting requests and establish reliable data structures.
  • Analyze utilization, cost, cycle time, and other data to inform strategy and process improvements.
  • Oversee automation projects to improve end-to-end processes and support new program launches.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce rework, track avoided costs, and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate across departments (Engineering, IT, Service Planning, etc.) to measure and improve NRD results.
  • Lead strategic forecasting and modeling efforts for executive presentations, regulatory filings, and project proposals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to implement programs and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Experience managing vendors and contracts.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with customers and business partners.
  • Knowledge of regulations impacting NRD.
  • Ability to prioritize work and solve problems effectively.
  • Ability to work constructively and collaboratively across a large organization.
  • Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Strong business and financial acumen.

Qualifications
