Manager Revenue Science and Analytics

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, create, evaluate, and support revenue forecasts, measurements, and customer programs.
• Analyze competitive landscapes and strategic business opportunities.
• Forecast business demands and develop business plans.
• Support operational planning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, mathematics, economics, computer science, or other quantitative fields such as engineering or operations research plus 5 years of experience in an analytical, quantitative, or technical role.
• Alternatively, a Master's degree in the same fields plus 3 years of relevant experience.
• Four years of experience obtained through work or education in computer-aided decision support, utilizing computer languages or packages to analyze data and generate reports, presentations, or insights.
• Ability to lead a team.
• Proficiency in SAS or SQL, UNIX, or any fourth-generation programming language.
• Project management experience.
• Strong human relations, communication, and analytical skills.
• Expertise in building and implementing advanced analytical models to generate revenue, improve profit, and manage customers.
• Ability to work with large scale customer, transactional, and financial data in relational databases (Teradata and Oracle).
• Experience in designing and developing dashboards and data-driven applications.
• Experience leading enterprise initiatives to design and develop new pricing and revenue management system functionalities.
• Experience in the U.S. and international parcel and freight transportation industry and pricing functions.
• Supervises 7 employees (Data Scientists and Economists).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant fields plus 5 years of experience, or Master's degree plus 3 years of experience.
• Experience in computer-aided decision support and data analysis tools.
