About the Role

American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. seeks Managers, Digital Product Management to support the development of software products in alignment with business objectives and create business and technical documentation as required by the development lifecycle. The role involves defining product scope and objectives, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices, and driving production issue management, analysis, and issue tracking. The position focuses on controlling product and capability areas through a defined roadmap to improve time to market, reduce operational risk, and increase business value. It includes creating features, user stories, and acceptance criteria within business and technology initiatives, working closely with technology teams to develop, test, and deliver product capabilities, and rapidly iterating solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Support the development of software products in alignment with business objectives.
Create business and technical documentation as required by the development lifecycle.
Define product scope and objectives, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices.
Drive production issue management, analysis, and issue tracking.
Create features, user stories, and acceptance criteria within business and technology initiatives.
Work closely with technology teams to develop, test, and deliver defined product capabilities.
Rapidly iterate new solutions to improve product offerings.

Requirements

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or a related field.
2 years of experience with product design and development.
1 year of experience with business systems analysis, including requirements analysis and definition.
Experience with root cause analysis and developing business process flows.
Experience defining, measuring, and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for products and outcomes.
Experience enhancing existing data management processes.
Experience leading and influencing development partners in a cross-functional environment.
Data analysis skills using SQL.
Knowledge of Scaled Agile (SAFe) principles.
Experience with Jira, Putty, Rally, Scrum methodologies, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Nice to Have

Experience with product management tools and methodologies beyond those listed.
Experience working in a telecommuting environment.

Qualifications

Master's degree in a relevant field
2 years of experience in product design and development
