Job Description

About the Role

The Product Management Specialist at Winchester Ammunition assists the team with executing new product processes, supporting product change authorization, sales and marketing data collection, manufacturing scheduling, competitive analysis, and coordinating with sales for new product strategies. The role involves supporting live-fire demonstrations and technical support for shooting promotion events, contributing to Winchester's position as a leader in ammunition manufacturing and fostering a diverse, inclusive workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate product change authorization and sales/marketing technical data collection for packaging.
  • Support manufacturing loading schedule development and execution.
  • Analyze competitive product activity and maintain information repositories.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to execute new product strategies to improve revenue.
  • Support live-fire demonstrations and event presence for relevant media, customers, and consumer events.
  • Provide technical support for shooting promotion events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Engineering, Business, Communication, Marketing, Engineering Management, or related technical field preferred.
  • Product development or relevant experience preferred.
  • Shooting, hunting, and ammunition product knowledge required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required; Creative Design software knowledge preferred.
  • Sound analytical skills and acute attention to detail, adept at creative thinking and problem-solving.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), effective data and presentation delivery, negotiation experience, and ability to develop partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume workload, multiple tasks, shift demands, and support team efforts.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Approximately 10% travel required.
  • Access to ITAR controlled technical data, contingent upon ability to obtain export license if required.

  • Creative Design software knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Degree from an accredited school recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent international program.
