About the Role

The Marketing Administrator role involves planning, coordinating, and preparing proposals of moderate scope and complexity in response to customer requests, supporting major marketing initiatives, and maintaining positive customer relationships within an aerospace aftermarket repair station. The position requires collaboration across functional departments, research, analysis, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations, all while contributing to team efforts and continuous improvement principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plans, coordinates and prepares proposals of moderate scope and complexity in response to customers' requests.
  • Participates as team member in support of major marketing or complex proposal efforts and/or post-sales marketing support of an Aerospace Aftermarket Repair Station.
  • Analyzes customers' requests to determine the nature of the request, the best response format, and the internal resources required.
  • Coordinates development and compilation of information and correspondence from functional departments to respond effectively to customer requests.
  • Reviews and edits responses to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to customer format requirements.
  • Researches and analyzes historical data to support the division's response to customer requests.
  • Interfaces with customer representatives during fact-finding to gather or provide information on pricing and develop pricing justification.
  • Coordinates efforts of the proposal response team, including cross-functional representation, and monitors progress to ensure on-schedule performance.
  • Provides contract information by researching data, answering questions, and resolving contract discrepancies.
  • May develop and conduct product presentations for seminars, technical symposiums, trade shows, and customer facilities.
  • Maintains working knowledge of division, group, and corporate philosophies, and critical customer issues.
  • Maintains customer confidence and develops positive relationships to promote and expand business opportunities.
  • Participates in team effort and shares specialized knowledge with others.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in aftermarket/repair station required.
  • 2+ years of increasingly responsible related marketing or proposal management experience.
  • Knowledge of principles, industry practices, regulations, and policies related to proposal response and management.
  • Knowledge of related legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work on problems of moderate scope and complexity, analyzing data and factors thoroughly.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies and recommend procedural changes.
  • Proficiency with business software applications (e.g., databases, spreadsheets).
  • Ability to respond to significant inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or the business community.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to write proposals conforming to prescribed style and format.
  • Effective team participation, goal-setting, performance feedback, and self-development skills.
