About the Role

The Marketing Analyst for Google Workspace will drive measurement, analysis, and testing initiatives supporting global and regional marketing programs. The role involves analyzing large data sets, designing and performing statistical analyses to improve process efficiency and campaign impact, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to generate insights that enable effective marketing strategies. The position supports the Google Workspace Marketing team by providing business-critical insights, aligning marketing and sales goals, and uncovering growth opportunities within the enterprise segment. The role emphasizes understanding user needs, demonstrating how Google's products solve problems, and redefining marketing through technology and user-centric approaches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver regular reports to marketing leadership and stakeholders, communicating business performance, insights, and recommendations.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on observed data trends for programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with regional marketing teams to understand regional performance nuances, identify best practices, and provide tailored insights to optimize plans and execution.
  • Explore marketing data to identify trends, patterns, and key insights that uncover new growth opportunities or areas for efficiency improvements.
  • Develop reporting dashboards and analysis tools leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) based on business requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a research or quantitative field such as Social Sciences, Statistics, Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Economics or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience designing, scoping, executing, and delivering research and analysis projects.
  • 3 years of experience translating business problems into research questions and translating research findings and insights into marketing recommendations.
  • Experience managing research and measurement agencies.
  • Experience working in marketing analytics and analyzing marketing performance.

Nice to Have

  • 2 years of experience working in marketing analytics.
  • Experience analyzing marketing performance and driving business impact.
  • Experience with data analysis, data modeling, and SQL.
  • Ability to build presentations and communicate with executive stakeholders by synthesizing data sets into meaningful insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in research, analysis, and marketing analytics.

  • US base salary range of $114,000-$163,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
