Marketing & Social Media Assistant

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Support social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Create, schedule, and publish content across various social media platforms.
• Monitor and analyze social media performance using analytics tools.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
• Assist in the creation and execution of strategic marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with the design team to produce visually appealing content.
• Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Currently working towards a degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to create engaging content and visuals.
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Google Analytics).
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
