About the Role

The Marketing Associate provides technical and operational support for the marketing and client growth teams at Truepoint Wealth Counsel. The role involves assisting with the execution of marketing tactics, gaining hands-on experience across digital channels, and cultivating relationships within the firm. The position supports brand management, content creation, social media, and analytics, with a focus on developing industry knowledge in wealth management and financial services.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with updates to brand websites and social media platforms, gaining experience with SEO and UX best practices.
Develop skills for email marketing and CRM software to assist in creating, designing, and executing email communications.
Provide support with content calendar planning, coordinating internal and external resources to draft compliance-approved content and collateral.
Assist with social media posting and campaigns, including scheduling, graphic design, deployment, monitoring, and tracking key analytics.
Provide brand support to the Event Planning Associate as needed.
Perform administrative tasks for the marketing and client growth teams.
Exhibit growing proficiency in core responsibilities and relevant technology platforms, providing dependable support.
Demonstrate initiative by executing assigned projects, identifying issues, and contributing solutions.
Develop a foundational understanding of the wealth management industry, including terminology, client needs, and marketing strategies.

Requirements

Strong academic track record, including the achievement of a bachelor's or advanced degree.
2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a professional services environment or a digital agency.
Strong organizational and writing skills, with high attention to detail and customer service.
Familiarity and appreciation of marketing and branding.
Desire to develop experience in digital marketing, including social media channels, email marketing platforms, content management systems (e.g., WordPress), and digital analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
Ability to learn new software required.
Occasional local travel to company and community events.
A positive mindset with initiative and drive to exceed expectations.
Demonstrate initiative to grow both personally and professionally.

Nice to Have

Experience in a professional services environment or digital agency.

Qualifications
