About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Automation Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Washington, District of Columbia. In this role, you will leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud to optimize marketing strategies, drive engagement, and improve campaign performance. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in digital marketing and marketing automation who thrives in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize Salesforce Marketing Cloud to design, implement, and manage marketing automation workflows and initiatives.
  • Conduct a comprehensive audit of current marketing automation processes, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategic solutions.
  • Create and integrate member segmentation profiles to enhance targeting and personalization.
  • Develop and execute high-impact automation workflows, including establishing baseline performance metrics.
  • Plan and conduct A/B tests to optimize campaign performance, conversion rates, and overall marketing productivity.
  • Implement advanced segmentation and personalization strategies, including dynamic content and predictive modeling.
  • Design and execute membership automation strategies, such as personalized renewal campaigns, onboarding sequences, and reengagement initiatives.
  • Generate detailed analytics and insights, including dashboards for marketing performance and member engagement.
  • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and provide cross-training to enable marketing team members.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to ensure seamless implementation of automation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing automation and digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud; certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong ability to assess and optimize marketing automation platforms, including journey mapping and opportunity identification.
  • Experience in creating data strategies and integrating member segmentation profiles.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing automation workflows with measurable results.
  • Expertise in A/B testing methodologies to enhance campaign performance and sales growth.
  • Familiarity with advanced segmentation techniques, dynamic content personalization, and predictive analytics.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other tools for email campaign design and execution.
