About the Role

NetApp Marketing Automation System Administrators use creative thinking and a problem-solving mindset to overcome challenges and improve marketing operations systems and processes. You will play an essential role in the design and implementation of scalable solutions between Salesforce (SFDC) and Marketo. Work closely with sales, IT, marketing, and analytics teams to turn business needs into technical solutions and understand how changes in SFDC affect connected systems. Up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing trends, best practices, and industry developments is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and administer the Marketo platform, including program templates, data hygiene, campaign execution process, lead nurturing, scoring models, and segmentation
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and make data-driven adjustments to achieve optimal results
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Marketo/Salesforce sync, including field mapping, sync errors, campaign attributions, and data flow troubleshooting
  • Partner with Sales Ops to optimize lead flow, lifecycle stages, and routing processes within Salesforce
  • Develop and execute test cases to validate data sync functionality and performance
  • Monitor data health within the system to ensure accurate and reliable information across systems
  • Manage and optimize data enrichment to ensure marketing and sales systems are populated with accurate, complete, and actionable information, leveraging third-party tools and integrations
  • Create detailed documentation of data sync processes, configurations, integrations, and issue resolutions
  • Generate reports and present insights to stakeholders regarding data quality performance and improvements
  • Audit and maintain data hygiene including duplication, segmentation, accuracy, and compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
  • Ensure accurate campaign attribution by managing UTM parameters, program channels, and campaign member synchronization

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Marketo in B2B high tech or SaaS environments, including certification (Marketo Certified Expert strongly preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience with Salesforce, including a thorough understanding of how the Marketo and Salesforce sync works
  • Proficiency in database management, SQL, data modeling, and Excel
  • Familiarity with API integration and management
  • Experience managing integrations with Marketo boundary systems (Zoominfo, Openprise, Drift, etc)
  • Deep understanding of marketing operations, lead management, and campaign attribution models
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to audit existing systems and propose scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience with API management and integrations
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA

Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience with Marketo in B2B high tech or SaaS environments
  • Marketo Certified Expert (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience with Salesforce
