About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the thinking and provide recommendations on marketing strategy, plan development, and execution across various marketing touch points.
• Manage specific projects such as credit card plans, in-store creative, social media planning, referral programs, new media opportunities, partnership strategies, promotion development, event planning, etc.
• Review and report on Tire Discounters' digital presence across platforms like Yelp, Bing, and the company website, and recommend updates.
• Lead weekly competitive analysis summarizing programs and threats, and suggest actions based on findings.
• Share new and innovative ideas for marketing initiatives.
• Support the marketing team with various projects and tasks as they arise.

Requirements

• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional attitude, motivation, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information.
• Willingness to support company philosophies and concepts.
• Current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
• Major in Marketing, Business, or a related field of study.
• Ability to operate in an office setting, using standard office equipment.
• Regularly required to talk and hear, stand, walk, handle objects, and reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 25 pounds and may require travel to store locations.
