Marketing Coordinator

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate company sales and marketing processes to help teams pre-position and respond to multiple concurrent pursuits.
• Coordinate and contribute to all elements of persuasive pursuits, proposal responses, and interview presentations, including research, writing, formatting, proofreading, editing, and production.
• Manage resources such as technical content from engineering staff and subject matter experts as well as graphics support.
• Create and maintain well-organized, up-to-date qualification statements, project descriptions, photographs, and resumes that reflect firm strengths and client benefits, including writing, researching, and editing material.
• Provide general client/business development support to facilitate client contact by client service managers and teams, including tactical action planning, tracking, assembling information packages, and coordinating key conferences and events.
• Enter opportunity information accurately and promptly into the company tracking system by working with client service managers to gather the right information.
• Use systems and tools to track pursuits, including tagging and sharing products and debrief information.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or Marketing preferred.
• One to three years of experience in a related marketing role.
• Experience in engineering, environmental, architecture, and/or construction industries is a plus.
• Strong technical writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently as well as in team environments, often under tight deadlines.
• Experience as proposal coordinator, responding to RFQs/RFPs, and performing all aspects of proposal production is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Adobe InDesign preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience in engineering, environmental, architecture, and/or construction industries.
• Experience responding to RFQs/RFPs and performing all aspects of proposal production.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or Marketing (preferred).
• One to three years of relevant marketing experience.
