About the Role

The mission of the Marketing Insights team is to understand the needs, experiences, behaviors, and attitudes of our users and customers to maximize the value Meta can deliver across our platforms and services. Our team are experts in research technique and practice, but our differentiator is how we act as full-stack partners to help identify and actualize the marketing strategies that connect people and businesses to meaningful experiences. We are seeking a Marketing Insights Researcher to join our Outbound Brand team, working with our marketing organization to shape how people realize the promise of Facebook. The focus of this role is to help them figure out how to deliver our message across a wide variety of channels, identify mutually beneficial partnerships, and create synergies that are cumulative to consumers. The role involves developing research agendas, designing and executing research, and translating findings into actionable insights to support marketing and business strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the learning agendas to support progress on business goals
  • Design and execute quantitative and qualitative research to support decision-making, strategic planning, and shape marketing/brand strategies, campaign development, product development, and retail/channel strategy
  • Translate research findings into actionable insights with clear recommendations
  • Produce highly effective communication that motivates people to apply learnings in marketing and across the organization

Requirements

  • 5+ years of research experience with high expertise in qualitative and quantitative research applied in a business context
  • Proven expertise in shaping insights-driven marketing campaigns and product launches from definition to execution
  • Experience building strategies for brands, navigating ambiguity, and setting priorities
  • Highly curious and strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and think outside the box
  • Experience working effectively within a changing environment and pivoting to areas of greatest opportunity
  • Demonstrated experience with a wide variety of alternative marketing tactics beyond traditional television ads

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with multi-channel marketing that integrates communications to alternative marketing, on-platform integrations, creator-driven programming, and classic ads
  • 3+ years working at an agency that does alternative marketing such as brand activations, partnerships, IRL real-life integrations, influencer/creator-led strategies
  • In-depth knowledge on how to identify and implement partnerships, social, and activation marketing
