About the Role

The Marketing Intern will support the marketing objectives of The Shaw Group and its divisions, including Shaw US Pipe Fabrication, Shaw MENA Pipe Fabrication, and Shaw Projects & Modules. This dynamic position involves coordinating and executing diverse marketing initiatives across several focus areas such as events, social media, graphic design, communications, analytics, and advertising. The role requires a proactive and creative individual with strong organizational skills to support the company's mission and growth objectives. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will report directly to The Shaw Group's Marketing and Communications Manager at the Shaw P&M headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas.

Key Responsibilities

Planning, coordinating, and implementing marketing campaigns across various platforms
Writing copy for marketing materials such as social media posts, emails, advertisements, brochures, and sales presentations
Ensuring marketing materials align with Shaw's brand identity
Articulating ideas clearly, writing compelling copy, and presenting/distributing information to both internal and external audiences
Planning and organizing internal and external events such as trade shows, conferences, client events, employee parties, etc.
Gathering analytical data from various platforms and preparing reports for leadership
Assisting with the procurement of branded items for events, employee gifts, etc.
Conducting market research to identify industry trends

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year in a full-time marketing position
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
Basic knowledge of Google AdWords
Basic knowledge of Google Analytics
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Intermediate experience with Social Media Platforms
