About the Role

We are currently seeking a Content and Messaging Strategy Senior Advisor aligned to the business marketing team within the Evernorth Health Services lines of business. This position is responsible for the development and execution of business-to-business strategic marketing in the form of content development, differentiated market messaging, storytelling and overall marketing communications support. This role will need to develop strong relationships with cross-functional partners responsible for support of Evernorth's Commercial business growth, upsell and retention objectives across all health services business units. Additionally, this role will serve as the strategic quarterback to 11 Marketing Centers of Excellence (COEs). Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute content development strategies including narratives, sales tools, assets, emails, and PowerPoint presentations in collaboration with COEs.
  • Execute commercial client business campaigns, communications, digital executions, event/tradeshow planning, and other mechanisms to stimulate interest in Evernorth Health Services.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop and implement meaningful and aligned market messages tailored for health services clients.
  • Leverage business knowledge, research/data, and insights to optimize market messages and communication campaigns.
  • Support the development of key communications such as narratives, key messages, presentations, collateral, and microsites/website content.
  • Manage initiatives that impact or support retention and profit margin goals within expected timelines.
  • Coordinate and support a series of client events including bi-annual advisory council meetings and co-located meetings.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing channels and ability to articulate client and business partner needs through storytelling.
  • Proven success in partnering with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint.
  • Superior project and time management skills.
  • Experience with digital marketing, web content management, content management systems (CMS), and website analytics.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong relationship development and management skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Travel occasionally (less than 10%).

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7+ years of experience in communications or marketing or Master's degree with a minimum of 5+ years of experience.
  • Experience in integrated marketing communication campaigns, including digital (website) execution and measurement.
  • Experience planning and executing strategic client events and tradeshows.
  • Outstanding ability to translate strategic communication needs into impactful creative executions.
  • Ability to engage internal and external clients effectively.
  • Excellent judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects without compromising quality.

Qualifications
