Marketing Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of the bi-annual catalog in coordination with Publishing/Product Acquisition
• Help coordinate printing and mailing of marketing materials
• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, including direct mail, email, and customer outreach
• Create and schedule emails through HubSpot
• Design marketing elements such as website banners, advertisements, flyers, and sell sheets
• Generate and distribute sales analyses for marketing initiatives
• Develop, execute, and analyze social media strategy
• Manage and maintain social media presence and analyze its impact
• Assist in managing the AAB Blog, including writing posts and contacting guest authors
• Help maintain records within the company database
• Assist in managing website content and publishing efforts
• Travel to conferences as needed
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements

• Associates or trade school degree
• Experience working in marketing or other office administrative positions
• Proficiency with computers and applicable business software, including Microsoft Office
• At least one (1) year of experience in design with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator
• Demonstrated ability with business enterprise software such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and give/receive constructive criticism
• Ability to meet deadlines and stay organized
• Critical thinking, prioritization, and multitasking skills
• Adaptability and flexibility to change
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Punctuality and initiative

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree or military service
• Two (2) years' experience with Adobe software (InDesign and Illustrator)
• One (1) year of experience with Photoshop and Premiere
• Experience with MAC OS, Adobe, Microsoft Teams, Dropbox, and Apple Mail
• Experience with Hubspot
• Experience with 3CX phone system
• Experience with NetSuite
• English/Spanish bilingual
• Previous experience as a marketing specialist

Qualifications

• Associates or trade school degree
• Experience in marketing or office administrative roles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign/Illustrator
