More about us here: www.nomadmarketing.com The Implementation Specialist reports to Nomad's Head of Technical Solutions. You will be part of a team responsible for the architecture and timely completion of all implementation projects at Nomad. You will be responsible for the successful implementation, configuration, and optimization of marketing operations platforms for our clients, collaborating closely with internal teams, clients, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless integration and functionality of these platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and meeting project deadlines through task and timeline management and proactively communicating any blockers or dependencies
  • Leading the implementation process of marketing operations platforms, including marketing automation systems, CRM systems, analytics tools, and other related platforms
  • Working closely with clients to understand their specific requirements, objectives, and challenges, and translating them into effective platform configurations
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, such as account leads and team members, to ensure alignment and successful execution of implementation projects
  • Conducting thorough platform configurations, customization, and integrations to meet clients' needs and maximize platform capabilities
  • Providing training and support to clients on how to effectively use and manage marketing operations platforms, including campaign setup, data management, reporting, and optimization
  • Troubleshooting technical issues, identifying root causes, and implementing timely solutions to ensure platform stability and performance
  • Staying updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in marketing operations and platform implementation
  • Collaborating with vendors and third-party partners to stay informed about platform updates, new features, and enhancements
  • Documenting processes, configurations, and customizations to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base
  • Participating in post-implementation retros to evaluate project success and identify areas for improvement
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Proven experience in implementing and configuring marketing operations platforms such as Marketo, HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, or similar
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, practices, and processes
  • Proficiency in platform configuration, customization, and integration techniques, including scripting languages like JavaScript and API integrations
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients, internal teams, and vendors
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach
  • Certification in relevant marketing operations platforms (e.g., Marketo Certified Expert, Salesforce Administrator) is a plus
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and database management is preferred but not required
