Job Description

About the Role

The Membership and Marketing Coordinator operates in a fast-paced environment utilizing administrative, clerical, creative and customer service skills and organizational knowledge to communicate with prospective and current members of the organization. Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the role supports fundraising efforts, manages social media and website content, facilitates volunteer activities, and promotes member development programs including recruitment, recognition, and retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and manages activities including member cultivation and solicitation to support organizational fundraising goals.
  • Develops promotional collateral such as flyers, e-blasts, and social media images using software like desktop publishing tools, Canva, Adobe, or by directing others.
  • Monitors fundraising activities to provide support and follow-through.
  • Provides support to all Circle members, assists in coordinating and attending events and projects.
  • Maintains the organization's social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram) and assists with website updates.
  • Plans and implements various organizational events, managing all aspects from venue visits, graphic design, sponsorship solicitation, volunteer recruitment, ticket sales, to event execution.
  • Attends event committee meetings and contributes to other major projects as needed.
  • Maintains accurate reporting in the organization’s database and fosters relationships with community organizations as an ambassador.

Requirements

  • Experience managing social media accounts, preferably for non-profit or mission-driven organizations.
  • Experience with analytic tools such as Meta Business.
  • Familiarity with paid social media advertising.
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • Knowledge of social media platform features including reels and stories.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational abilities.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
  • Local travel required utilizing personal vehicle.
  • Availability to work occasional nights and weekends.

Nice to Have

  • Associate's degree in a related field.
  • Experience working with volunteers and coordinating large events.
  • Basic graphic design skills and video editing abilities.

Qualifications
