Job Description

About the Role

Contributes to the product portfolio, conducting market analysis and driving new product development. Provides expertise and thought leadership, contributing to strategic planning, market research, and cross-functional collaboration. Drives innovation, evaluates performance, and ensures regulatory compliance, playing a pivotal role in guiding the organization's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops product strategies and roadmaps aligned with the organization's business objectives and customer needs.
  • Delivers market research and conducts competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer preferences, and growth opportunities.
  • Defines product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria to guide the development process.
  • Assesses product performance and customer feedback, gathering insights to inform product improvements and updates.
  • Establishes relationships with marketing and sales teams to facilitate go-to-market strategies, positioning initiatives, and promotional activities.
  • Ensures the successful development and launch of new products and enhancements by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Confers with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic product plans and initiatives.
  • Integrates a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the product management team.
  • Develops complex financial analysis and business case development for new product initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years' work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in product management, project management, marketing strategy, or strategic planning
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects involving legal, compliance, operations, sales, actuarial, and product teams
  • Proven ability to lead product lifecycle activities, including program maintenance, enhancements, and strategic planning
  • Strong skills in market research, competitive analysis, and building business cases
  • Ability to represent product strategy in cross-functional initiatives and external stakeholder engagements
  • Adept at problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Adept at collaboration and teamwork
  • Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
  • Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification
