Trusted by many of the world's most prominent companies and more than 250 humanitarian NGOs, Factal's products include a web platform, mobile app and data products that are sold on an annual basis. The company is seeking a full-time mobile developer to join their Seattle-based technology team, developing native mobile applications for both iOS and Android, including user interfaces and framework code, with experience interacting with internal APIs and understanding backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop native mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
Create and maintain user interfaces and framework code within the apps.
Communicate with internal backend systems and public APIs.
Drive both large and small features within the apps independently.

Requirements

Experience developing lightweight, responsive native apps on either iOS or Android, ideally on both.
Experience with declarative user interface frameworks such as SwiftUI or Compose.
Experience interacting with internal APIs and understanding backend systems.
Experience working on high-use, large-scale applications.
Ability to work independently without needing detailed instructions.
Knowledge of Python is a plus.

Nice to Have

Experience with both iOS and Android development.
Familiarity with SwiftUI or Compose.
Knowledge of backend API interactions.
