Mobile Full-Stack Developer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Build cross-platform mobile apps using Flutter, with a focus on performance, accessibility, and user experience
• Develop and maintain scalable and reliable back-end services, including RESTful APIs, serverless functions, and databases
• Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to define and deliver thoughtful, user-centered features
• Contribute to system architecture and technical planning across the front end and back end
• Ensure seamless integration between mobile applications and cloud-based services
• Continuously improve performance, accessibility, and reliability across the stack
• Actively participate in sprint planning, peer reviews, and team-wide knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Experience developing mobile apps with Flutter in a commercial or production environment
• Comfortable working with back-end languages and frameworks (e.g., NodeJS, Express, Typescript on Google Cloud/Firebase or similar)
• Familiar with designing and building REST APIs and using cloud platforms (Google Cloud or Firebase preferred)
• Understanding of mobile-first architecture and how to build scalable systems
• Exposure to modern development practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and agile ways of working
• Effective communicator in English (Dutch is a bonus, but not essential)
• Bonus: DevOps experience, including knowledge of Google Cloud Infrastructure and CI/CD for mobile apps (Bitrise)

Nice to Have

• DevOps experience, including familiarity with Google Cloud Infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps

Qualifications

• Experience with Flutter in a commercial or production environment
• Knowledge of back-end development with NodeJS, Express, Typescript
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud or Firebase
