Model Based Engineering AI Processes & Tools Intern

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Support Data-Driven Reduced Order Modeling (ROM) with Machine Learning (ML).
• Evaluate processes for Data-Driven Model ROMs by implementing and validating processes using MathWorks and Modelica tools.
• Assist in evaluating and creating processes around Co-pilot tools for Model-Based Design and Embedded Firmware.
• Support evaluation of MathWorks Co-pilot tools in various use cases.
• Assist in creating MBD processes for deploying ML models in embedded firmware, including soft sensors and algorithms.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or adjacent fields from an accredited institution.
• A relevant master's or specialization in AI / ML is highly preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience with AI-ML projects, including undergraduate projects or Master Thesis.
• Experience with MathWorks tools such as MATLAB and Simulink is desired.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and stakeholder updates.
• Proven ability to work well within a team environment and contribute to discussions.
• Demonstrated project ownership from conception to delivery, ensuring deadlines and goals are met.

Nice to Have

• Experience with MathWorks tools like MATLAB and Simulink.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related fields.
• Master's degree or specialization in AI / ML (highly preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience in AI-ML projects.
