About the Role

Symetra is seeking a Multimedia Manager to join our Marketing Team. We're looking for a creative and strategic Multimedia Producer to bring Symetra's brand to life through compelling visual storytelling. In this role, you'll create multimedia content that reflects our values, supports our business goals, and engages both internal and external audiences across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Create engaging videos, animations, and photography that inform, inspire, and connect with diverse audiences. You'll handle the full production process—from concept and scripting to filming, editing, and final delivery.
Partner with teams across the company to understand their goals and recommend the best multimedia solutions. Help shape messaging and visuals to increase impact.
Maintain brand consistency across all media and stay current on trends in video, social, and digital storytelling. Bring fresh ideas to elevate our content and reach.
Deliver multimedia for events, campaigns, internal communications, and external marketing—tailored for web, social, and live presentations.

Requirements

High School Diploma required. Bachelor's degree in Multimedia, Visual Communications, or a related field preferred.
A visual storyteller with 4+ years of experience in multimedia production, including video, photography, animation, and editing.
Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and familiar with both Mac and PC environments.
Comfortable behind the camera and in front of a team—able to direct shoots, coach on-camera talent, and lead production logistics.
Strong communicator who can write scripts, develop storyboards, and collaborate across departments.
Organized, proactive, and thorough, with the ability to run multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Experience handling a broad range of projects including event photography, commercial-style productions, and explainer videos.
Experience partnering with compliance and legal teams to ensure all marketing content meets financial industry standards is a plus.
Local - Onsite travel to Bellevue, WA Corporate Office as needed.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
Bachelor's degree in Multimedia, Visual Communications, or a related field (preferred)
