Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a specific set of accounts, selling NWN's key offerings to existing customers.
  • Meet or exceed the assigned annual quota (typically $1M+).
  • Participate in business development and demand generation activities to support customer growth.
  • Follow NWN's core selling models and tools, including MEDDICC methodologies and Force Management training.
  • Research accounts to understand their business, target markets, decision makers, existing VAR relationships, financial metrics, and IT budgets.
  • Represent NWN professionally and ethically at all times.
  • Develop relationships with manufacturer representatives covering your accounts.
  • Engage with multiple decision makers and departments within accounts.
  • Understand the IT strategy and key projects of assigned accounts.
  • Communicate NWN's value proposition effectively to stakeholders.
  • Introduce NWN content experts to key stakeholders within accounts.
  • Utilize CRM and prospecting tools as directed by sales management.
  • Maintain consistent contact with all assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to develop and sell solutions.
  • Work with pre-sales to develop proposals and statements of work.
  • Forecast business regularly and accurately using CRM.
  • Attend and facilitate marketing events and company trainings.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of selling technical solutions.
  • Outside sales experience with direct end-user accounts.
  • Consistent and documented over-quota performance in a gross margin-driven environment.
  • Understanding of key technology solutions.
  • Working knowledge of NWN's core selling models and tools, including Salesforce, MEDDICC, and Force Management sales process training.
  • Possess and demonstrate a relationship management mentality.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong communication, reasoning, and people skills.
  • Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and negotiate effectively.
  • Clean driving record and access to reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel up to 100% for client locations, training, and meetings.
