About the Role

The National Accounts Director position at BradyPLUS is designed to identify, develop, and maintain national account opportunities and sales within the Senior Living space and related GPOs. The role focuses on maintaining and growing the customer base for large national clients, working closely with field management and the sales organization to meet strategic sales goals and enhance national account development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recommend appropriate pricing and service strategies for target accounts.
  • Negotiate and enforce correct costs for contracts with the manufacturer community.
  • Conduct heavy analysis of current customer accounts and overall contract activity.
  • Communicate activities and results to management as required.
  • Participate in BradyPLUS National Account sales strategy development.
  • Maintain primary account responsibility for current defined National Accounts and expand business with internal sales support.
  • Coordinate national account programs across BradyPLUS divisions to meet strategic sales goals.
  • Ensure contract compliance and proper setup over the contract term.
  • Manage business activity and development using company software tools.
  • Develop programs for national account targets and establish sales strategies.
  • Perform training and presentations to inform reps on contract requirements and tools.
  • Act as a coach and mentor to maximize resource utilization and business growth.
  • Participate in tradeshows and conventions at regional and national healthcare events.
  • Travel frequently to interact with specified accounts across the US.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous selling experience with emphasis on calling large, complex customers.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Strong analytical skills for manipulating data and utilizing multiple reports in Excel.
  • Exceptional people skills and ability to present before large groups.
  • Proven leadership in building a team-based organization.
  • Effective organizational, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with vendors, customers, and corporate personnel.
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the US.
