The Online Developer Experience Lead will join our Marketing team, reporting to the Director of Developer Experience, and will play a pivotal role in connecting online with individual developers pushing the edge of AI hardware today. This role involves engaging with communities on platforms like Twitch, Reddit, Discord, Twitter, and other channels, embedding Tenstorrent into conversations. It is remote, with a preference for a base in San Clara, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow obscure and well-known AI developers across Twitter, GitHub, Youtube, Reddit, and Discord.
- Attend bleeding-edge conferences before they get corporate.
- Tinker with AI systems and push rigs to their limits.
- Engage with open source projects.
- Foster meaningful interactions online between Tenstorrent and developers.
- Work closely with Communications and Marketing to ensure narrative alignment.
- Initiate and nurture VIP developer relationships that scale trust, not just reach.
- Monitor discussions and sentiment within community channels, identify key trends, opportunities, and blocks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience managing developer communities.
- Real development skills, enough to hack your own and speak the language.
- Passion about AI and compute.
- Fluency with open source development practices and tools (e.g., Git, GitHub).
Nice to Have
- Experience engaging with developer communities on social platforms.
- Experience attending or speaking at technical conferences.
- Familiarity with AI hardware and software ecosystems.
Qualifications
- Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience.

- Range of $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets, depending on experience, skills, education, background, and location.
