About the Role

The role is for a Senior Data Scientist specializing in Generative AI, focusing on leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance response accuracy, relevance, and creativity. The position involves developing and improving language model solutions to provide real-world applications, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and applying NLP and machine learning techniques to solve business problems.

Key Responsibilities

Use the latest innovations in NLP and LLM to propose software solutions to improve customer experience.
Design and test algorithms for language and image data, conducting prototyping to evaluate possible scenarios.
Develop and write production-ready code in Python or another high-level programming language.
Gain a good understanding of the inner workings of LLMs.
Develop statistical and machine learning models to analyze complex data and solve problems.

Requirements

Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or an Analytics discipline, or MS with 10+ years of post-MS experience.
At least 7 years of work experience.
Experience in developing statistical and machine learning models.
Ability to analyze and present complex data with proven problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in writing production-ready code in Python or another high-level programming language.
Good understanding of the inner workings of LLMs.
Certifications in Python and Gen AI.

Nice to Have

Experience working with agricultural/biological scientific data.
Drive for translating business problems into research initiatives that deliver business value.
Creativity in defining challenging exploratory projects.
