About the Role

The Paid Media Programmatic Buyer at Freddie Mac is responsible for managing all programmatic and biddable media campaigns within the Google Marketing Platform. The role involves designing and implementing media and marketing strategies, optimizing campaigns, analyzing performance data, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The position supports Freddie Mac's efforts to raise awareness and engagement through effective digital advertising across multiple channels, contributing to the company's mission of making home possible for borrowers and supporting housing finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all programmatic and biddable media campaigns within the Google Marketing Platform, ensuring alignment with overall marketing and campaign strategies.
  • Ideate media strategies and manage a robust portfolio across digital channels such as display, native, video, SEM, and audio.
  • Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends and insights, refining audiences and strategies to improve effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage budgets for programmatic campaigns, ensuring efficient resource allocation to maximize return on investment.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in programmatic advertising, adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure seamless integration of programmatic campaigns with other marketing channels and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with media and marketing teams to align on performance trends and ensure successful campaign execution.
  • Support new products and business initiatives in a dynamic working environment.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of paid media experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on programmatic experience.
  • Experience with the Google Marketing Platform, including DSPs such as DV360, Campaign Manager, SA360, and GA for reporting and optimization.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of programmatic buying, audience creation, campaign management, and in-dash optimization techniques.
  • Strong understanding of third-party tracking, serving, trafficking, and attribution technologies, primarily in Google's Campaign Manager.
  • Ability to assess new opportunities strategically and make data-driven decisions to improve media performance.
  • Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a proactive approach to work.
  • Ability to synthesize performance data into clear narratives and recommendations.
  • Experience managing multiple campaigns with competing deadlines and priorities.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools, marketing automation, CRM, web analytics, and measurement tools.
  • Experience with website development and content management systems.
  • Ability to build rapport and influence decisions at all organizational levels.
