About the Role

The Paid Social Media Planner is responsible for developing and executing Hewlett Packard Enterprise's end-to-end global paid social media strategy. This role involves strategy and planning, collaborating with third-party partners, working with the in-house media team for activation, and continuously optimizing campaigns to meet HPE's objectives. The position is based in the US with a hybrid work model, requiring an understanding of digital marketing, analytics, and performance metrics within a leading technology company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop execution plans, budget proposals, and implement comprehensive paid social media strategies across platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter (X), Facebook (Meta), Instagram, Threads, and Xing, following overall media strategy and plans.
  • Drive high engagement, conversion rates, and improve Click Through Rate (CTR) across paid social platforms in line with campaign tactics, goals, and objectives.
  • Identify optimization opportunities within and across platforms, including testing ad copy, landing pages, content types, and formats, and analyzing performance.
  • Analyze campaign performance data, ensure stakeholders understand reporting, and offer actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Utilize advanced targeting techniques to reach and engage key audience segments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including creative, content, analytics, and media buyers to ensure campaign alignment and effectiveness.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in paid media, ensuring compliance with privacy policies.
  • Engage with management and partners to align HPE's global paid social strategy with campaigns.
  • Oversee campaign insights and reporting at various intervals, ensuring campaigns meet conversion objectives.
  • Align paid social activities across multiple budget streams, ensuring financial viability.
  • Assess paid actions' effectiveness and contribute to creative content development.
  • Govern and guide paid requests from marketing and field/GEO teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience in paid media, specifically paid social media.
  • Proven track record of successful paid social media campaigns with measurable results.
  • Quantitative ability and advanced understanding of digital media analytics, including setting up media analytics infrastructure to track KPIs.
  • Understanding of current digital marketing and technology trends.
  • Knowledge and passion for technology, digital marketing, and innovation.
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated with strong communication skills.
  • Drive to deliver and exceed performance goals.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and results-driven work style.
  • Experience with ad platforms including Facebook (Meta), Instagram, Twitter (X), LinkedIn, Threads, and Xing.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills independently.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication with clients, partners, and senior management, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
