This role reports to the Associate Director and is a crucial part of the social media team. The Paid Social Strategist works directly with mid-market and enterprise clients, creating and executing paid media strategies, particularly on LinkedIn, to support B2B marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead a collection of Social Media accounts.
  • Serve as direct support to client contacts.
  • Weekly communication with vendors or operational partners to ensure alignment on tasks, work quality, and improvements.
  • Build strategies for clients each quarter.
  • Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns.
  • Deeply understand client positioning and unique value propositions.
  • Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM.
  • Ensure personal productivity and utilization.
  • Work directly with the Associate Director to ensure internal and client goals are being achieved.
  • Understand the value of Programmatic campaigns.
  • Drive cross-sells, upsells, and referrals via client relationships and professional network.
  • Execute and optimize advertising campaigns within LinkedIn, including ad copywriting, TAM development, and targeting to maximize ROI.
  • Support and support the development of high-performing LinkedIn strategies for B2B businesses.
  • Analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms to make data-driven decisions.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Build and maintain client trust and relationships to ensure renewals and growth.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience working at a performance/digital marketing agency supporting B2B clients.
  • Deep expertise in paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads.
  • Understanding of LinkedIn Ad Units such as conversation ads, document ads, CTV, and more.
  • Proficiency in advertising platforms and tools like LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Zoominfo, 6Sense, etc.
  • Strong understanding of paid principles including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization.
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
  • Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to tell stories with data.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects.
  • Willingness to travel to visit clients approximately once per year or as needed.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with programmatic campaigns.
  • Knowledge of additional advertising platforms and tools such as 6Sense.
  • Experience supporting or managing client relationships in a remote environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and customer generation methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Established work authorization in the US or relevant country if working globally.
  • Ability to operate a laptop and necessary office productivity tools.
  • Reliable internet access and a professional background suitable for remote work.
