About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assists with managing the social media calendar to ensure timely and relevant content delivery
• Acts as a communications liaison with the Falcon Force student content creator program, scheduling meetings, organizing files, and coordinating correspondence
• Contributes to posting approved content onto various platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter in a timely and engaging manner
• Collaborates with the publications lead on gathering newsworthy content to keep campus news and social media presence informative and relevant
• Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be enrolled at LSC-CyFair with a minimum of six hours college credit or pursuing a certificate for the Fall and Spring semesters
• Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
• Must maintain good academic and disciplinary standing
• Strong understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative and innovative thinking
• Knowledge of social media analytics tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or Facebook Meta Business Suite
• Basic graphic design skills with tools like Canva or Adobe Photoshop is a plus
• Understanding of SEO and content marketing

Qualifications

• Enrolled at LSC-CyFair with a minimum of six college credit hours or pursuing a certificate
• GPA of 2.0 or higher
