At The Classic Center and Akins Ford Arena, we're all about creating unforgettable experiences—from concerts and Broadway shows to sporting events and community gatherings. As our Social Media Coordinator, you'll help tell our story, elevate our brand, and connect with our audiences in meaningful, innovative ways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating, scheduling, and managing engaging content across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, Pinterest, and more.
  • Building relationships with our online community—responding to comments, messages, and participating in relevant conversations.
  • Monitoring performance metrics and preparing regular reports to evaluate the success of our social strategies.
  • Collaborating with marketing team members to align messaging, track upcoming events, and keep the content calendar up to date.
  • Attending select events to capture real-time content and engage with guests onsite.
  • Supporting the advertising team with show settlements by documenting and reporting organic social activity.
  • Helping brainstorm and execute grassroots marketing campaigns to increase awareness and drive ticket sales.

Requirements

  • A proactive, self-starting attitude with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A solid understanding of major social media platforms and their best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong sense of voice and visual storytelling.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and make content strategy recommendations.
  • A team-player mentality and comfort working cross-functionally in a creative environment.
