Performance Media Strategist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes information regarding different media channels, such as TV, print, radio, outdoor media, disruptive media, online video, social, display, and programmatic.
• Creates, executes, and manages buying recommendations and plans, reporting on the efforts.
• Accountable for the planning, implementing, and managing of paid media campaigns.
• Evaluates and presents new media opportunities to account services and team members.
• Negotiates contracts and rates with media outlets while managing relationships.
• Creates media proposals and collaborates with teams to develop integrated marketing strategies.
• Executes advertising and marketing plans in accordance with approved budgets and deadlines.
• Coordinates ads for buys and communicates with account services, project management, and creative teams.
• Traffics assets to media outlets on time and optimizes media mix to reach goals.
• Reports on the effectiveness of media efforts and provides excellent customer service to internal and external partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of five years professional experience in media planning and buying, preferably at an agency.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Certifications in Google Adwords and/or Google Analytics are strongly preferred.
