Principal Data Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Interface at every level of the Sourcing organization from Commodity Managers to the Chief Procurement Officer.
• Create software and technology solutions that will directly enable workflow, performance, and reporting within the Sourcing organization.
• Apply expert functional knowledge within the Sourcing organization and a solid foundation in Big Data processing.
• Work within a small high talent team that operates across Software Development, Scripting, Enterprise Server Management, Security, Relational Database, ETL software, and more.
• Contribute to the global digitization of existing application suites and infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Management Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 8 years of Supply Chain experience within Sourcing, Procurement, Planning, or Operations.
• 5 years of experience with Big Data Processing.
• Experience with Database Management using SQL Server Management Studio / Access.
• Experience with Data Extraction, Transformation, Loading (ETL).
• Expertise in Scripting & Automation (VBS, VBA).
• Knowledge of .NET framework, IIS, and basic Virtual Machine Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in relevant fields.
• 8 years of Supply Chain experience.
• 5 years of experience with Big Data Processing and related technologies.
