Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for working closely with management to execute analytical initiatives.
  • Provide thought leadership & strategic thinking to solve business problems using techniques such as segmentation, optimization, advanced analytics, and machine learning.
  • Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to ensure goals are met and course correct as necessary.
  • Actively manage and escalate risk and customer-impacting issues within the role to management.
  • Translate business problems into analytical frameworks and recommend actions and insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand business needs, gather data, perform analysis, and deliver presentations.
  • Establish and maintain performance tracking, identify improvement opportunities, and design tests to enhance strategy.
  • Lead development and implementation of advanced analytics including customer segmentation, prescriptive analytics, and machine learning algorithms.
  • Develop analytical capabilities to create long-term strategic data/analytics assets.
  • Deliver presentations of findings and recommendations to leadership, including visual displays of data.
  • Develop and automate reports, build dashboards, and provide insights at scale.
  • Follow standard work processes, recommend process improvements, and continuously improve technical and leadership skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, or related field.
  • 6+ years of work experience in Credit Risk, Fraud Risk, Marketing Analytics, Optimization, Operations Analytics, Modeling/Data Science, or related areas.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis, experimental design, modeling, and financial impact analysis.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
  • Strong communication skills for delivering presentations and visualizations.
  • Ability to operate office equipment and communicate verbally and in writing.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics.
  • Previous experience in Payments or Financial Services.

Qualifications

  • Educational background as specified in requirements.
  • Experience in relevant analytics and risk management areas.
