About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provides thought leadership and strategic thinking to translate business problems into analytical frameworks.
• Independently recommends actions and provides business insights based on analysis.
• Operates as a subject matter expert on statistical analysis, test and design of experiments, analysis methodology, modeling, and financial impact analysis.
• Supports automation by developing and maintaining self-service solutions to visualize, monitor, and communicate data insights.
• Performs ad-hoc data, variance, and financial analyses to support business decisions and strategy.
• Mentors junior data scientists and analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business Administration, Statistics, Engineering (any), or related field.
• 4 years of experience in a Data Scientist-related occupation or in the job offered.
• Skills in Analytics, Optimization, and Operations Analytics.
• Experience with Payments Network Applications such as Merchant, Acquirer, Issuer Settlement & Pricing, or Authorization.
• Ability to translate complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in SQL (Snowflake) and Excel.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Supporting automation by developing and maintaining self-service solutions.
• Performing ad-hoc data, variance, and financial analyses.
• Mentoring junior team members.

Nice to Have

• Experience with financial impact analysis.
• Knowledge of payment processing systems and networks.
• Experience with statistical modeling and experimental design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 4 years of relevant experience in data science or related roles.
