The role is based in Lake Forest, IL, with up to 40% remote work allowed, and involves developing and implementing advanced supply chain models and data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement optimization models using linear programming, mixed-integer programming, and heuristics to solve complex supply chain problems.
Apply supply chain management principles, including network footprint optimization, inventory positioning, and transportation strategies, to address business and supply chain questions.
Conduct scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to evaluate the impact of various supply chain policies and input parameters on service, operational efficiency, and cost.
Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow into models using tools like SQL and Alteryx.
Create insightful visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Develop production-level code and deploy optimization solutions effectively using programming languages such as Python or R, and data manipulation libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy.

Requirements

Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
At least 5 years of related experience in supply chain modeling and data analysis.
Experience developing and implementing optimization models with tools like Gurobi or CPLEX.
Proven knowledge of supply chain management principles, including network optimization, inventory, and transportation strategies.
Experience conducting scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis with tools like LLamasoft Supply Chain Guru.
Ability to develop and maintain data pipelines using SQL and Alteryx.
Proficiency in creating visualizations with Tableau or Power BI.
Programming skills in Python, R, or similar, with experience in data libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy.

Nice to Have

Experience with supply chain simulation and advanced analytics.
Knowledge of additional programming languages or data tools.
Experience working in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
