Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer based in Oklahoma City, OK, working on state-of-the-art Mission Planning systems.

Key Responsibilities

Create and maintain the software CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, bug safe delivery of critical business software to production.
Set up Development, Test, and Build environments for the team.
Work with various team members to create a product for deliveries.
Create and update Windows installers.
Install, test, and verify software products.
Maintain multiple baseline repositories.
Provide support to team members with issues related to build and installation.
Define and implement software version control processes, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

BS or higher degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) or related field from an ABET accredited university.
5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or software build management OR 3 years of experience with a master's degree in a related discipline.
Active DoD secret clearance, adjudicated within the last 5 years.
Demonstrated experience with DevOps engineering principles.
Knowledge and experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) practices.
Experience using and managing CI/CD tools such as Bamboo or Jenkins.
Development experience in scripting languages like yaml, Python, PowerShell, Curl, Unix.
Experience with at least one object-oriented programming language (C#, Java, C++).
Knowledge of tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, SonarQube, Ansible, VisualBuild, InstallShield.
Ability to work on-site in Oklahoma City, OK.

Nice to Have

Experience with Microsoft Windows-based Applications.
Experience with tools like InstallShield, Kinook Visual Build Pro.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Software testing experience.
Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, Java, C/C++.
Expertise in Windows and Linux administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Proven automation and coding experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to implement process improvements and develop efficiencies.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field from an ABET accredited university.
Active DoD secret clearance adjudicated within the last 5 years.
