About the Role

The Principal Product Manager, Enterprise AI Solutions at Palo Alto Networks is responsible for leading the development and execution of AI-driven transformation initiatives across enterprise functions. This role involves partnering with cross-functional teams to define product vision, strategies, and roadmaps that reimagine how the enterprise operates, enhances productivity, and delivers value in a rapidly evolving environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive AI-First Vision & Strategy: Identify significant opportunities for AI-driven transformation; develop, champion, and inspire others with a bold, AI-first product vision and strategic roadmap for transforming core enterprise functions, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
  • User-Centric Product Development: Cultivate deep customer empathy (internal business units and employees) to collaboratively gather and translate complex needs into robust problem statements, clear feature requirements, and intuitive UI flows/wireframes for AI solutions.
  • Data-Driven & Outcome-Focused Execution: Champion an outcome-driven approach by defining clear success criteria, metrics, and dashboards; incorporate data, research, and analysis of complex, large-scale datasets to inform product strategies, guide prioritization, and make decisions.
  • Full Lifecycle & Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for Enterprise AI solutions - from ideation and productization to launch and iteration - by directing and motivating cross-functional teams through influence, coordinating resources, and guiding them through key milestones to deliver high-quality, path-breaking solutions efficiently.
  • AI/ML Expertise & Application: Apply deep expertise in AI, automation, LLMs, and Generative AI to identify the right technologies for impactful use cases, maximizing the transformative potential within enterprise functions.
  • Culture of Innovation & Learning: Foster a culture of rapid iteration, experimentation, and continuous learning; maintain a strong curiosity regarding the evolving AI/ML landscape, proactively integrating customer feedback and identifying new technologies to drive ongoing enterprise transformation.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Influence: Excel in communication by delivering impactful technical presentations and authoring documents with extreme clarity to articulate product strategy, value, progress, and insights to diverse audiences, including executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years of product management experience, with a significant 3-5 years of domain-specific experience launching and scaling AI/ML/Generative AI solutions that have demonstrably transformed enterprise functions (e.g., marketing, sales, HR, legal, customer support, product).
  • Proven success in managing the entire lifecycle of AI-powered products, including ideation, incorporating user feedback into requirements, driving prioritization, and leading pre/post-launch execution with measurable impact.
  • Demonstrated strategic mindset, with experience defining and executing innovative product strategies for enterprise-grade AI solutions and aligning them with broader business objectives.
  • Strong technical background in AI/ML, well-versed in LLMs, Generative AI concepts, and their practical application to solve complex enterprise challenges and drive automation.
  • Extensive experience working in a fast-paced, technical environment, leading broad, cross-functional teams to define product vision, crystallize requirements, and guide projects through key milestones.
  • Hands-on experience with UI/UX design principles and a track record of developing intuitive user flows and wireframes for enterprise applications, coupled with a strong sense of customer empathy.
  • Exceptional ability to manage ambiguity and unpredictability inherent in the AI/ML domain, demonstrating enthusiasm, adaptability, and resilience in a constantly evolving, fluid environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven experience using large-scale data sets to inform decisions, drive strategy, and influence stakeholders.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with experience delivering compelling technical presentations, authoring clear and concise documentation, and effectively engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects, effectively prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
