About the Role

The Principal Product Manager for Cortex Cloud at Palo Alto Networks leads the product strategy, planning, and operations for a market-leading cloud security platform. Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the product strategy, planning, and operations for Cortex Cloud.
  • Drive innovation by spearheading the development of groundbreaking cloud security solutions that outpace evolving threats.
  • Scale the product for hypergrowth, supporting rapid customer and revenue expansion.
  • Shape industry standards by influencing cloud security best practices and setting new benchmarks.
  • Craft and execute a visionary product roadmap that anticipates market needs.
  • Collaborate with engineering to deliver cutting-edge features at an unmatched pace.
  • Translate complex security challenges into elegant, user-friendly solutions.
  • Maintain Cortex Cloud's position as the #1 Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP).
  • Identify strategic opportunities to expand the product portfolio and market share.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing to drive revenue growth.
  • Engage directly with Fortune 500 CISOs and cloud security leaders to transform customer feedback into product innovations.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record in cybersecurity or cloud technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent military experience; advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA, technical degree).
  • Deep technical knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern application architectures.
  • Proven experience managing all aspects of a product lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing C-level executives and technical practitioners.

Nice to Have

  • Advanced degree such as an MBA or other engineering/technical degree.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of product management experience in cybersecurity or cloud technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
