As a Procurement Data Scientist at Micron Technology, you will work with the leadership team to manage data and programs, including communication and change management. The role involves providing direction and guidance for managing complex projects to achieve business goals, designing and tracking programs to predict results, and analyzing data, program, and project progress in terms of root cause analysis, risk, resources, and gaps. The Procurement Data Scientist may also serve as a Project Manager for specific projects, including AI-related initiatives, defining vision and roadmaps for AI/ML products, and leading projects from ideation to deployment. Additionally, the role includes supporting audits and coordinating preparation for them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage data and programs including communication and change management in collaboration with leadership.
  • Provide direction and guidance for managing multiple complex projects to achieve specific business goals.
  • Design and track programs and projects to predict results and outcomes.
  • Analyze data, project progress, root causes, risks, resource consumption, interdependencies, and gaps.
  • Serve as a Project Manager on specific projects, including AI-related programs, defining vision and roadmaps for AI/ML products and services.
  • Define and implement the AI/ML roadmap, aligning it with overall business objectives.
  • Lead AI projects and use cases from ideation to deployment.
  • Participate in and support internal and external audits, helping coordinate preparation.

Requirements

  • Experience managing data and programs with complex projects.
  • Ability to analyze data and project progress, including root cause analysis and risk assessment.
  • Experience with AI/ML projects, including defining vision, roadmaps, and leading deployment.
  • Strong communication and change management skills.
  • Ability to serve as a Project Manager for specific initiatives.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with audit coordination and preparation.
