Product Analytics & Business Intelligence Intern - Spring 2026

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• For the Product Analytics track: Analyze onboarding, promos, and payment funnels to find opportunities for improvement and drive conversion wins.
• Design and evaluate A/B/A/Bn tests, writing clear reports to guide strategic decisions.
• Build dashboards to monitor adoption, retention, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Triage data anomalies and partner with Engineering to fix instrumentation issues.
• For the Business Intelligence track: Work on high-level analytics projects that influence key business areas.
• Help define and maintain a lightweight metric dictionary to ensure data consistency.
• Build essential dashboards and reports to support business needs.
• Answer ad-hoc data questions with clear, reliable information.

Requirements

• Proven SQL Skills: comfortable with complex joins, window functions, and aggregations.
• A foundation in statistics: understanding hypotheses, variance, and confidence intervals; familiarity with experimentation concepts for the Product Analytics track.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and strong command of Excel/Google Sheets.
• A project to demonstrate analytical skills, from classwork, personal projects, or competitions.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly and work well within a team.
• Passion for sports.

Nice to Have

• Experience with data visualization tools or BI platforms.
• Knowledge of sports industry dynamics or regulations.
• Previous internship or work experience in data analysis or related fields.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled student at the time of internship or within 1 semester of graduation.
• Rising Junior academic status.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).
