Job Description

About the Role

We are hiring a Product Data Analyst to play a key role in supporting product development and launch initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely setup of new product data, maintain existing product information, and provide day-to-day operational support. This includes managing non-standard product requests through our Specials process and contributing to continuous improvement efforts across our data management practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain product data models for new and existing Steelcase, Acquisition, and Partner products, collaborating with teams like Marketing, Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing.
  • Design, load, and validate product data rules across systems like MDM, PLM, ERP, PIM, and DAM to support product development, pricing, order fulfillment, and catalog accuracy.
  • Ensure data consistency and integrity across systems and publications to enable efficient ordering, manufacturing, and shipping processes.
  • Analyze and manage complex product information, including pricing logic, configuration rules, and technical data, with high precision and speed.
  • Lead testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts, influencing cross-functional teams and driving innovation in product data processes and tools.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related).
  • Experience programming, coding, and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms to support data configuration and system integration.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) for data analysis, reporting, and collaboration.

Nice to Have

  • Background in Managing Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with Master Data Management (MDM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and Product Information Management (PIM) systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodology and working in agile development environments.
