Product Development Advisor - Evernorth Health Service - Hybrid

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for new solution contracting including negotiation and financial modeling, as well as solution development across multiple aspects of the product development process.
• Translate complex models and plans into simple, effective, and engaging visual communications.
• Lead and manage vendor contracting for pilots and solutions, ensuring flexibility and adaptability to changing market needs.
• Lead recontacting of solutions for optimal performance within The Cigna Group product portfolio.
• Forge strong partnerships across organizational levels, engaging team members in innovation and input within the team and across functions.
• Offer unique perspectives and respectfully challenge the status quo to foster innovation and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners to support clinical product, sales, account management, and clients.
• Deliver market messaging, product readiness, and training to sales, account teams, consultants, and brokers.
• Shift focus between priorities as needed, even mid-task, to adapt to changing circumstances.
• Generate thoughtful design, direction, and actions from ambiguous or unclear environments.
• Manage development and execution of market research and analytics plans to support business case and concept development.
• Coordinate with business and legal partners to ensure legal, business, and clinical appropriateness of program offerings.
• Research, analyze, and handle multiple projects and clients simultaneously, prioritizing to meet deadlines.
• Analyze findings, synthesize information, and prepare reports and presentations.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 4+ years with a Master's degree, or 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Client-facing experience is a key asset.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues cross-functionally and generate results.
• Data analysis and reporting skills.
• Financial analysis and modeling skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage workload to meet project deadlines.
• Comfort working under tight deadlines and significant pressure.
• Experience working across all of The Cigna Group and understanding stakeholder businesses.
• Experience managing external relationships with vendors.
• Ability to engage individuals through various channels to drive participation and satisfaction.
• Project management skills focused on speed, efficiency, and collaboration.
• Leadership in managing cross-functional teams with a dynamic, adaptable product mindset.
• Strong work ethic, integrity, team mentality, enthusiasm, and collaborative attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, and quick adaptability to new applications.
• Potential travel up to 20%.
• Preference for location in St. Louis, MO or Bloomfield, CT.

Qualifications

• Educational background with a Bachelor's or Master's degree, or extensive relevant experience.
