About the Role

This position is responsible for assisting the BU team on projects related to existing core business such as inventory, product availability, marketing materials, organizing and pulling financial reports, project management, as well as new product development/launches and any other category related activities that may arise, as directed by the product management team. This position will also assist with product quality cuttings and recaps. Requires work in Excel, data research, creating PowerPoint presentations and assisting product/marketing managers in various projects for the product management team. Must be a self-starter and self-motivated with an interest in learning about the company as well as both food service and retail.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the BU team on projects related to inventory, product availability, and marketing materials.
Organize and pull financial reports.
Support project management activities and new product development/launches.
Assist with product quality cuttings and recaps.
Create PowerPoint presentations and conduct data research.
Help product and marketing managers with various projects for the product management team.

Requirements

Must be a sophomore level or higher with at least one year of school remaining.
Preferred majors include Marketing, Finance, Business Management or Supply Chain.
Previous experience in an office environment is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical skills, detail oriented, and able to handle multiple projects.
Multi-task oriented with stress management skills.
Able to work 15-20 hours per week during the school year and up to 40 hours during summer.
Located within 60 miles or less of the Tyson Foods Springdale, AR facility.

Experience in an office environment.

Qualifications
