The role involves leading platform governance and administration, with a focus on lifecycle management, serverless execution, version management, and approval workflows. This position reports into the VP of Platform Management and offers an opportunity to influence product strategy and execution in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on platform lifecycle management including lifecycle process configuration, workflow approvals, deployment administration, related policies and their management, related role-based and rule-based IAM, and traceability for client cost governance.
  • Facilitate configurable automated CI/CD processes with workflow approvals.
  • Define and manage platform dynamic deployment targets to support all lifecycle execution needs including production.
  • Facilitate an excellent experience for platform administrators to set and manage standards and protocols related to lifecycle management using FICO Platform's policy services.
  • Facilitate automation and management control of lifecycle management through rules, roles, and groups management via FICO Platform's IAM services.
  • Product manage towards goals that include scalable parallel development, zero downtime for lifecycle activities and automated upgrades, granular and isolated deployment, fast and easy rollback, easy policy control, enforcement, and exception management, and enabling clients to balance between automated and manual steps.
  • Define platform standards and protocols for asset version management while ensuring version management occurs behind the scenes with minimal authoring interruption.
  • Define and manage FICO Platform's task service which is used for all system and user tasks.
  • Define and manage FICO Platform's notification service.
  • Generalize a notification taxonomy and roadmap to address all FICO Platform notifications.
  • Manage the product lifecycle and roadmap for strategic planning to tactical activities.
  • Define and prioritize product and market requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, professional services, product support, cloud operations, and sales team to understand future product enhancement needs.
  • Develop and implement company-wide go-to-market and product launch plans, working with all departments to execute.
  • Provide deep product expertise for the sales effort, particularly for large deals or partnerships.
  • Effectively drive cross functional activities across engineering, quality assurance, product management, marketing, legal, field support, product support and others as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in a technical or financial field. Masters a plus.
  • Significant experience in complex enterprise software product management combined with expert-level understanding of the product management discipline.
  • Deep domain/industry experience.
  • Proven repeated success in taking a complex product through all stages of the product lifecycle.
  • Proven background and practical experience in developing, managing, and delivering software using agile, perform competitive analysis, feature/function prioritization, and assessment.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about product and business issues while managing and implementing tactical product plans.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and AWS infrastructure.
  • Passion for user experience and strong design sensibility.
