Key Responsibilities

  • Define clear problem and market opportunity statements that lead to product features and capabilities with strong emphasis on delivering measurable customer usability, productivity benefits, and business value as per our company strategy.
  • Gather and effectively document customer / market requirements from different user types and global regions and effectively prioritize features that align with the best possible user and company value.
  • Manage requirements through an agile development process and recommend appropriate trade-offs with engineering resources based on priority management.
  • Collaborate with platform leaders, fellow product managers, and businesses to deliver the best and easiest-to-use integrated system solution possible.
  • Ensure the delivered product creates market differentiation and greater attachment opportunities for the portfolio, and identify innovation opportunities for the product line.
  • Champion innovation in the product line by creating product differentiation, attachment opportunities, and increasing the company's intellectual property portfolio, while being a thought leader.
  • Maintain strong customer relationship management skills and collaborate effectively with various functional groups and peer business units.
  • Act as a key representative of the business during product development, translating functional requirements into market-ready software features.
  • Provide guidance and advice on issues beyond the assigned product line and current business practices, demonstrating a strong understanding of Rockwell Automation technologies and their applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Relevant Field.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US; sponsorship for visas is not available.

Nice to Have

  • 8+ years experience in related field.
  • Proven industry experience in control system design, implementation, commissioning, and/or support with knowledge of current Rockwell Automation software products.
  • Experience with defining and engaging on Artificial Intelligence capabilities.
  • Experience with a diverse set of technical and commercial aspects of automation control systems.
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and influencing capabilities.
  • Experience interfacing with customers and defining customer problems.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

  • Educational background as specified in the requirements.
  • Relevant industry experience as outlined in the nice-to-haves.
