Product Manager - EcoStruxure Automation Expert

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Creating, defining, and adapting feature work items in Azure DevOps, ensuring acceptance criteria reflect core customer needs.
• Working with Solution Management on alignment between Epic and Feature work items.
• Collaborating with the Architecture team on technical implementation strategy.
• Validating acceptance criteria and technical strategies with target customers.
• Managing Voice Of Customer work items and ensuring they are addressed in the product backlog.
• Generating exploratory feedback from customers and validating customer satisfaction with delivered functionality.
• Providing technical marketing support to the commercial organization with materials to communicate customer value.
• Defining strategy for the product's functional area using customer feedback and market research to ensure innovation and competitiveness.
• Co-creating the product vision with stakeholders and communicating it to agile teams.
• Facilitating product development steps including planning, design, quality assurance, and task reviews.
• Participating in Agile events such as PI planning, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Communicating progress and impediments to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field; MBA preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, technical product management, or a related role.
• Strong technical background, product management expertise, and passion for industrial automation solutions.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and analytical skills.
• Technical and business acumen, relationship development skills, and motivational capabilities.
• Strong understanding of the Industrial Automation market, especially in discrete, hybrid, and continuous plant applications.
• Experience with Scaled Agile development and delivering quality features.
• Ability to define and execute product strategies, roadmaps, and business models.
• Experience working with global teams internally and with external partners/stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in automation systems delivery is preferred, with segments such as Water, Mining, Energy, Chemicals, Consumer Goods, Cloud/Service Providers, and Logistics being advantageous.

• Experience with working in Water, Mining/Minerals, Energy, Chemicals, Consumer Process Goods, Cloud/Service Providers, and Logistics segments.

Qualifications
